What the punk does this mean?

We've had some questions regarding the Anticurse AC symbol design and what it means. Here we go...

The design basically comes from me hijacking the Anarchy Circle A monogram made popular by Anarcho-punk rockers in the 1970's. I'm not going to get into all the history of Anarchy itself (because I'm lazy), and all the differences in meaning depending on who has adopted the expression. Generally speaking, the term Anarchy has developed meanings based around ideas of rejecting social hierarchy or having no system of government or central rule.

We are not Christian Anarchists

In the Christian sphere, there are those who formally call themselves "Christian Anarchists". I'm not going to get into what this means, or where this term comes from, but I will say that the design in question has nothing to do with Christian Anarchism (at least not intentionally).

The Anticurse AC symbol is just that. A symbol. It represents the idea that we as believers reject the evil spiritual powers that once enslaved us, and now battle against them (Ephesians 6:12). That we are no longer to conform to this world, but are being transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2), through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Submit to God. Resist the evil forces of this world.

Much Love...
